Douglas Glen and Quarry Park Community Information
Originally established as a Calgary community in the late 1980s and now maintaining a population of just over than 11,000 residents, the Douglasglen neighborhood lies in a premiere location alongside Deerfoot Trail. Tucked in between 114th Avenue to the north, 130th Avenue to the south, the aforementioned Deerfoot Trail to the east, and the Bow River to the west, the neighborhood benefits from close proximity to several amenities including the sizeable list of recreational opportunities that exist in Fish Creek Provincial Park. All properties within Douglasglen are single family detached homes with approximately 4,000 dwellings existing therein. These properties contain young families, professionals of all kinds, and seniors alike.
Public school students of Douglasglen attend Douglasglen Elementary, Mountain Park Junior High, and Lord Beaverbrook Senior High School. Meanwhile Catholic school students of the area are assigned to attend Monsignor Smith Elementary and Junior High before completing their primary education at Bishop Grandin Senior High School.

Transportation is not an issue in Douglasglen with several Calgary Transit stops arranged throughout the cityscape to accommodate the residents who want to travel to other parts of Calgary but who do not own a vehicle.
